Smoked ham from the Black Forest – tradition you can taste

For over 60 years, we have been dedicated to producing the finest ham in our traditional Black Forest butcher shop. Unlike many other producers, we raise our own animals and ensure species-appropriate housing and feeding – entirely in harmony with nature. Our pigs are raised in a healthy environment, fed with our own farm feed, and the sustainable care of our animals is our top priority.

Unique manufacturing

The production of the ham begins with the careful selection and preparation of the meat. In a gentle process, it is salted by hand with mountain salt and refined with exquisite spices. This is followed by the traditional smoking with spruce and fir wood, which gives the ham its unique, smoky aroma. After smoking, we let it rest in special curing rooms for up to several months to allow it to develop its distinctive texture and full-bodied flavor.
