- 2 deer burger patties (150 g each)
- 2 pretzel buns
- 100 g fresh chanterelles
- 2 tbsp truffle mayonnaise
- 1 celery root (for the chips)
- 1 tsp fresh thyme
- olive oil, salt and pepper

Preparation – 4 steps to the perfect venison burger:

  1. Prepare the celery chips: Peel the celery and slice it thinly. Brush with olive oil and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes, until the chips are crispy. Meanwhile, begin the next steps.
  2. Sauté the chanterelles: Sauté the chanterelles in a pan with a little olive oil and thyme over medium heat until soft and aromatic. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the venison patties: Fry the venison burger patties on the grill or in a pan over medium to high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are nice and juicy.
  4. Assemble the burger: Cut open the pretzel buns and toast them briefly on the grill or in a pan.
