Hinterwälder meat package from the Black Forest
The Hinterwälder cattle are one of the oldest and smallest cattle breeds in Central Europe. Their home is the steep slopes and high altitudes of the southern Black Forest, particularly around Feldberg, Belchen, and Wiesental. There, over centuries, they have developed into a particularly robust, sure-footed, and frugal breed, ideally adapted to the harsh conditions of this region.
