Grill World Champion 2024, special cut professional & BBQ enthusiast

I've been grilling professionally for over 10 years – from perfectly grilled steaks to hours-smoked BBQ cuts. For me, it's all about fire, meat, and perfect flavor.

In 2024, my team, Real Smoke BBQ, and I were honored to compete in the World Barbecue Championship against around 120 teams from over 20 countries – and we secured the title of World Champion! An unforgettable experience full of passion, team spirit, and perfect BBQ. The year before, in 2023, we became German Grill Champions.

For me, there is no barbecue season – one of my seven barbecues runs almost every day, whatever the weather.
I look forward to sharing my passion with you and personally advising you on your barbecue purchase.

As a trained chef with experience in Michelin-starred restaurants, Michael brings not only in-depth expertise but also a genuine passion for good meat. His experience makes him the perfect contact for all questions about steak, BBQ, and lesser-known cuts.

Today he heads the shipping department at Der Schwarzwälder and advises our customers as a specialist consultant for all types of grills – with a trained eye for detail and a good portion of passion for grilling.
